The Hairy Pits Club is a body positive blog that aims to showcase people who are proud of their pit hair. For many people, having pit hair is a way to say “FUCK YOU” to unrealistic beauty standards and dichotomous gender roles. Many of us are conditioned not to think about the choices we have and even the small decisions that we take back for ourselves are victories. We embrace our choice not to shave because among many other reasons, we think body hair is sexy and liberating.

However, this blog is not a “FUCK YOU” to people who make the choice to shave. Everyone has their own reasons for the decisions they make. This is not a “FUCK YOU” to men, but rather to patriarchy.
