I stopped shaving my armpits about six months ago because I reject the idea that gender normativity defines my identity either sexually or socially. Having said this, I completely respect the choice to shave, I simply see the validity in reaffirming that it is in fact a choice. And having the choice to shave means everyone should feel just as entitled not to. I would also like to say that this network of self assured, hairy people is one of my favourite contributions to the internet and I appreciate the confidence I derive from yours.
